Downtown Angola, Indiana has always been a special place. As the county seat of Steuben County, it is home to the Courthouse and has been a place of business and commerce for well over a century. It still retains a great deal of this prominence, both as a hub for business and government as well as a crossroads for transportation.

But Downtown Angola can be more, much more.

To this end, the City of Angola completed and adopted a strategic master plan for improving the Downtown area in May of 2008. This plan, completed after numerous public hearings, workshops, open houses and presentations, outlines a bold new vision for Downtown.
